PREMISE
“Money Laundering” is the process by which illegally obtained “dirty money” is made legally clean. Criminals are willing to risk significant jail time in order to clean and reuse their money.
Clothing and money are essentially made of the same Materials - cotton, Linen, and Ink. We exchange them for one another, yet millions of tons of clothing are discarded in landfills every year.
So why is it that we risk it all for money, but have so little regard for our clothing? Isn’t it criminal that we do not always wash and reuse our cotton and Linens?
